The Floor Mounted Double Action Door Closer can be used in conjunction with the double or single swing hinge. This door closer is a discrete solution that can be used in areas of high risk to minimise ligature points. This closer can be supplied with an optional mechanical hold back feature. Door Top Alarm
The Door Top Alarm (DTA) is an innovative technology that provides hardware integration into the top of timber doors to alert staff of possible ligature attempts. The discreet sensor installed across the door leaf detects the application of weight from ligature attempts or objects jammed between the door and frame. To avoid false alarms, it has an adjustable time delay of 5 to 30 seconds, triggering only with sustained applied weight. Vacuform Non Slip Foil
The secret of perfected adaption to the body by VACUFORM surgical mattresses is microballs of styrofoam, which are stabilised by vacuum to give a lasting, completely supportive form. Reducing the diameter of the filter balls by a fifth enables more precise adaption of the surgical mattress to the body. The MicroSpace system significantly increases the feeling of physical comfort for the patient compared to conventional fillings. Particularly during time-consuming operations or with patients who are older and in poor condition, there is a risk of pressure points leading to acute decubital ulcers and paresis (paralysis from nerve damage). The individual, ergonomic body adaptation of VACUFORM surgical mattresses effectively prevents such damage. The support pressure of the patient is optimally distributed over the whole body and thus reduced to a minimum. The microcirculation needed by the skin is unaffected. Removable Door Stop, Aluminium
The Aluminium Removable Door Stop provides an effective solution to prevent barricade attempts in combination with a double swing hinge. While the door is in normal use, the stop stays locked to the door frame and acts as a traditional stop to prevent the door from swinging outward. In the case of a barricade, the stop can be unlatched from the frame using a key and opened outward to enable the door to swing away from the obstruction. Available in right or left-handed configuration, the door stop comes in 2100mm and 2400mm lengths and requires a 4mm key. Single Swing Full Length Anti-Ligature Geared Securahinge
The Single Swing Full Length Anti-Ligature Geared Securahinge is a continuous hinge that is designed to reduce the risk of ligature and self-harm. It features a sloping cap and specially designed bearings, which removes the gap between the door leaf and frame that can be found in butt or piano-style hinges. It opens up to 180 degrees in one direction, making it suitable for applications where the door needs to fold back against the wall. The Securahinge can be installed with either the Floor Mounted Door Closer or the Concealed Door Closer. It can also be cut down to fit the length of the door.
