Removable Door Stop, Aluminium
The Aluminium Removable Door Stop provides an effective solution to prevent barricade attempts in combination with a double swing hinge. While the door is in normal use, the stop stays locked to the door frame and acts as a traditional stop to prevent the door from swinging outward. In the case of a barricade, the stop can be unlatched from the frame using a key and opened outward to enable the door to swing away from the obstruction. Available in right or left-handed configuration, the door stop comes in 2100mm and 2400mm lengths and requires a 4mm key. Emergency Pull Handle
The Emergency Pull Handle is a vital accessory in any healthcare facility with anti-barricade doors. It provides additional grip to overcome any internal force generated by a patient holding the handle from the inside of the door, preventing clinical staff access. By sliding the Emergency Pull Handle over the pinch grip handle, the door can be opened outwardly by pulling it. The length of the handle is designed to allow multiple staff members to participate in pulling the door, ensuring swift entry to the barricaded room. The Emergency Pull Handle is compatible only with 729 handles. -

Concealed Door Closer
The requirements of anti-ligature installations and those of door closers invariably contradict each other. The necessity of a linkage between the door and the frame always creates a ligature point when the door is open. One of the best compromises is the Perko Powermatic concealed door closer. Operating at power size 3, with adjustable closing and latching speeds, this unit has a concealed jam mounted configuration making it a less obvious ligature risk. While a ligature risk will always be present with this model of door closer, it can be minimised by installing it at as little as 300mm above floor level. -

The Single Swing Full Length Anti-Ligature Geared Securahinge is a continuous hinge that is designed to reduce the risk of ligature and self-harm. It features a sloping cap and specially designed bearings, which removes the gap between the door leaf and frame that can be found in butt or piano-style hinges. It opens up to 180 degrees in one direction, making it suitable for applications where the door needs to fold back against the wall. Floor Mounted Door Closer
The Floor Mounted Double Action Door Closer can be used in conjunction with the double or single swing hinge. This door closer is a discrete solution that can be used in areas of high risk to minimise ligature points. This closer can be supplied with an optional mechanical hold back feature.
